We Survived Day 2

Well, we’re still upright (astonishingly). We made it through The Countdown to Pride kickoff party on Friday night. Thanks to everyone who showed up. Lots of new faces and old faces we haven’t seen in a while. It was so nice to see all of you. The music was INSANE and we partied to the wee hours.

Last night, we RAWRed with the Capital City Bears in our special Pride Edition of Bear Night. Brownstone was packed tight with loads of bears, cubs, and otters. We even painted a cub to raise money for Cyndi Lauper’s True Colors Foundation. And a special thanks to Blue Moon whose rep was there amidst all the hairiness to paint Blue Moon pint glasses to celebrate their 50th anniversary.

Stick with us, we’re just getting started. After we hose down the place to get all the paint out, we’ll be revving up for TWO events today. Join us for a completely unique drag show: The Evolution of Drag. The amazing Miss Anita Dickson and her crew of some of the best drag queens in Central PA will mesmerize you with a retrospective of Drag History covering the past 50 years. It’s a must see event, starting at 6 PM today.

Then stick around for a special crazy Pride edition of Sundays in Your Undies. We are bringing out the pools (yes, pools) and Anita Dickson will be judging a wet underwear contest. It’s gonna be 100 degrees outside so why not strip off those pants and hop in a baby pool? We consider it a public service. You’re welcome(!).
