Brownstone Pride Parade and Festival Waiver

Yes. We know. But it’s the world we live in. We are so grateful (and proud) that you’re a part of Brownstone’s participation in The Pride Festival of Central PA and Parade. Please read and agree to the following and we look forward to celebrating Pride with you by our side. Thanks again. Your help and representation with the Brownstone is greatly appreciated.

  1. I understand and acknowledge the potential risks associated with participating in a public event, including, but not limited to, physical injury, property damage, emotional distress, as well as potential risks caused by third parties directed to the participants of this event.

  2. I agree to abide by all the rules, regulations, and instructions provided by the event organizers and staff before, during, and after the parade and festival.

  3. I understand that participation may include walking, lifting, dancing, and other physical activities. I agree to only engage in activities that I am physically capable of performing safely.

  4. I acknowledge that photos, videos and other media recordings may be taken during the parade and festival and may be published through social media platforms, news organizations, and others.

  5. I agree that the Brownstone may use images, video, etc. from the Pride event for promotional purposes.

  6. I agree to conduct myself in a respectful, inclusive, and professional manner towards all participants, spectators, and members of the public. I also understand that opposition may be present and agree not to engage in any physical or verbal manner with them.

  7. I release, forever discharge, and hold harmless K’s Brownstone Lounge, Inc. from any and all liability, claims, damages, or expenses from all causes of action, claims and demands, damages and costs, accruing to me and that may accrue to me in the future, arising out of and related to my participation in the Pride Parade & Festival.

  8. I understand that the Brownstone Lounge may terminate my participation in its Festival and Parade activities at any time.
