Fall is nearly here and the Brownstone’s annual charity benefit, The Great Chili Cook Off, is right around the corner.
This year, the Cook Off will benefit the Harrisburg-based Caitlin’s Smiles. This amazing organization reaches children in PA hospitals suffering from chronic or life-threatening illnesses. They work with the kids through arts & crafts activities that stretch their imaginations, as well as build confidence and skills. Let’s get out that chili and support this fantastic organization.
Here’s how it works:
Enter your Chili into the contest
Make your chili at home and bring it in a crock pot for the Cook Off
People at the bar can purchase a taste, cup, or bowl of any chili.
All proceeds will go to a local charity
The chili that raises the most money gets the Grand Prize
Other awards for spiciest, most unique, etc. will also be awarded.
It’s a great time, with great food, and all for a great cause. Enter your chili today or if you’re not the cooking type and more the eating type, come in and eat your way through some fantastic chili from some terrific local amateurs cooks.
